The Coaching Process
Individual coaching programs typically encompass the following components:
- A minimum of 6 hours of 1:1 coaching provided by a qualified and experienced leadership coach.
- Self-assessment of competencies across 16 distinct leadership competency domains.
- Optional assessment of specific role-based competencies, as identified by the organization
- Utilization of a psychometric test to assess emotional intelligence.
- Application of established coaching tools and techniques.
- Creation of a preliminary Individual Professional Development Plan that integrates technical goals with competency goals.
- Compilation of a report for the organization, encompassing competency evaluations and shifts, a copy of the preliminary professional development plans, and suggestions for organizational follow-up.
The Content and Outcomes
The content of 1:1 sessions will depend on individal needs and priority areas. Throughout the sessions, the coach and coachee will do a deep dive into select competency areas such as time management, change management, planning skills, conflict management and motivating others. The competency measurement in session one will determine exacltly which competencies to work on.
